Raymond has a background of 30 years creating and running several businesses in restoration and conservation. He moved to Bexhill in 2007 and was the original Founder of Bexhill Heritage CIO and Bexhill Maritime CIO. Raymond is a United Nations (Climate & Oceans) Ambassador and and has retired as a Trustee at Bexhill Old Town Preservation Society after serving nine years on the board.

Elise Liversedge was born and raised in Bexhill-on-Sea, she works locally on architectural projects and is a practising multi media fine artist. Elise uses her professional design skills and artistic inspiration to work alongside and encourage a variety of community focused projects Bexhill Maritime being one of them.

My name is Lindsay White and I have been a resident of Bexhill-on-Sea since 2008. In that time, I have been involved in numerous community projects and charities. I have a particular interest in the environment and education and once I heard about the Bexhill Maritime project, I knew I would be in a position to support in some way. I also have experience in fundraising and setting up a charity, which I was able to do in 2021. I’m happy that I can share my experience with the Bexhill Maritime team and project.

Lynn Langlands is a former teacher of the deaf and has lived in Bexhill-on-Sea since 1980. She is committed to supporting the community and the local environment, thus enabling Bexhill to be a better place for all its residents. She has been a former councillor and mayor of the town, and has spent time communicating and understanding the diverse tapestry of its citizens. She feels these skills will help engage the community and its visitors with the Bexhill Maritime Project.

Meridian moved to Bexhill two years ago after studying Marine Biology at the University of Southampton. She has worked at Bexhill Academy as a science teacher and mentor and now works with Bexhill Maritime on scientific and educational projects.

Stuart lives locally and works in landscaping. His skill sets include engineering, restoration of classic cars and motorcycles, air raid siren restoration and he is a volunteer at the Brede Steam Giants and nuclear bunker. A lifetime fascination with lighthouses and their saving of lives are a passion of his, and this project is an ideal fit.
