Bexhill Lions Club has awarded £1,200 to Bexhill Maritime.

The money will be used towards programming costs for the educational section of the charity’s website.

A series of talks is being planned which will need extra website facilities developing.

The cheque was handed over at a presentation evening held by the Lions at Manor Barn.

Bexhill Maritime Chair, Founder and Trustee Raymond Konyn said: “We are humbled to have this money donated to us by the Lions. It will enable us to progress the website features more quickly so we can go ahead with preparing our talks.

“We know the Lions appreciate the significance of this project to the people of the town and thank them for their generosity.”
